CISA Course Description:

Our CISA training course is intended as hard-core preparation for ISACA’s professional certification exam for the Certified Information Systems Auditor designation. This course is not intended as a comprehensive IT auditing and assurance class covering non-exam audit-related topics. However, each of the 6 domains of the 2012 CISA exam will be covered, and the content is focused on concise exam preparation to give you all of what you need for the exam, and none of what you don’t.

CISA Training Course Synopsis:

The CISA Examination has a multiple-choice format and consists of one four-hour paper. The examination tests a candidate’s knowledge of IS audit principles and practices as well as technical content areas. The exam covers one process and five content areas (domains) and those tasks that are routinely performed by a CISA training. The examination covers the following areas of IS Auditing:

• CISA training course Area 1: IS Audit Process
  Provide IS audit services in accordance with IS audit standards, guidelines, and best practices to assist the organization in ensuring that its information technology and business systems are protected and controlled.
• CISA training Area 2: IT Governance & Management
  To provide assurance that the organization has the structure, policies, accountability, mechanisms, and monitoring practices in place to achieve the requirements of corporate governance of IT.
• CISA training course Area 3:  IS acquisition, development and implementation
  To provide assurance that the practices for the development, acquisition, testing, implementation of information systems will meet the organization’s objectives.
• CISA training Area 4: IS operations, maintenance and support
  To provide assurance that the IT service management practices will ensure the delivery of the level of services required to meet the organization’s objectives.
• CISA training course Area 5: Protection of Information Assets
  To provide assurance that processes for IS operations, maintenance and support meet the organization’s objectives.

2011 CISA Exam Centres and Registration Information

All candidates wishing to take the CISA Exam have to register directly with the Information Systems, Audit and Control Association (ISACA) which provides all students with a Candidate’s Guide to the CISA Exam. The Guide includes

·     An outline of the subject areas which are covered on the CISA examination,

·     A suggested list of reference materials to review,

·     A glossary of acronyms commonly used on the CISA examination, and

·     A sample copy of the answer sheet used for the CISA exam.

ISACA automatically forwards this publication to CISA candidates upon receipt of the CISA exam registration form and payment.

The CISA Exam Format
